Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care in Belleville, Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide in‑home nursing visits with support from RNs for more complex patients, helping people stay comfortable at home. This role offers a retention bonus up to $5,000, flexible scheduling (including every other weekend off), mileage reimbursement, an education allowance, and a strong training program.

Travel within the area is required; English/French bilingualism is preferred to support client

Qualifications

• Registered with the CNO as an RPN in good standing.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience delivering community care is an asset.
• Willingness to travel within a designated area.

Responsibilities

• Participate in scheduled visits in the community to look after patient needs within your scope of practice.
• Provide ethical and safe nursing care.
• Use appropriate assessment tools/techniques to assess patients’ needs.
• Execute and monitor care plans and adjust as required.
• Engage patients using a collaborative approach to build rapport and trust.
• Maintain and update professional patient records related to encounters and plans.
