What you will be doing

• Assist the Pharmacy Manager with daily workload management;
• Collaborate with Pharmacists and Assistants to fulfill prescriptions;
• Label, fill, and refill prescriptions independently;
• Double-check repeat prescriptions for accuracy;
• Ensure customers receive correct prescriptions;
• Identify potential therapeutic issues and consult Pharmacists;
• Work with Innomar and ABSG Patient Programs;
• Handle billing, claims, and related documentation;
• Assist patients during prescription pickup;
• Enter and correct prescription data in the computer;
• Screen calls and gather information for Pharmacists;
• Maintain medication inventory and prepare shipments;
• Review invoices and documentation;
• Report adverse events as per regulations;
• Renew OCP registration annually and participate in QA processes;
• Perform additional duties as assigned;
• May be on standby/on call.

Candidate Requirements

• Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited college, with successful completion of Structured Practical Training or Ontario College of Pharmacists Bridging Program, and valid OCP registration;
• At least two years of pharmacy experience;
• Proficiency in Kroll and Microsoft Office Suite;
• Bilingual in French/English is an asset.
