Job summary

Sobeys Inc. in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our busy pharmacy team delivering patient‑centered care across banners nationwide.

You will perform authorized duties under provincial regulators, transcribe verbal prescriptions, verify completeness and authenticity, transfer prescriptions, and ensure accuracy of drug and patient records. • Completion of the Pharmacy Technician Certification.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and transcribing verbal prescriptions from practitioners
• Ensuring prescriptions are complete and authentic
• Providing injections/vaccinations as applicable by regulations in certain jurisdictions
• Transferring prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies
• Ensuring the accuracy of prepared prescriptions
• Conducting the final check of prepared prescriptions
• Confirming the accuracy of drug and personal health information in patient records
