Job summary

Save-On-Foods, Fort and Foul Bay location in Victoria, BC, is hiring a Regulated Pharmacy Technician. The role includes transcribing prescriptions, dispensing duties, and supervising dispensary staff. Eligible for an extra $5.00 per hour premium.

The successful candidate will hold a Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence in good standing, possess strong communication and customer service skills, and may have dispensary or Kroll experience. Friday pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Regulated Pharmacy Technician licence in good standing with the respective College.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Pharmacy dispensary experience or Kroll computer experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive and transcribe verbal prescriptions from practitioners.
• Transfer prescriptions to and receiving prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Ensure that a prescription is complete and authentic.
• Ensure the accuracy and perform the final check of a prepared prescription.
• Perform all the technical functions of dispensing prescriptions.
• Perform all necessary duties to support and maintain dispensary and front store (OTC) operations.
• Provide excellent, Always Customer First service.
• Adhere to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Observe and direct Pharmacy Assistants and Clerks in the dispensary activities.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by the Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Regulated Pharmacy Technician at our Fort and Foul Bay location in Victoria, BC.

This role is eligible for an additional $5.00 per hour premium for hours worked.

You will be responsible for:

Compensation Details:

$24.50 - $31.50

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
