Job summary

Pattison Food Group Ltd. operates Save-On-Foods and is opening a brand-new pharmacy at the Valleyview location in Kamloops, BC. The Pharmacist role offers a negotiable signing bonus and moving allowance for the right candidate.

You will lead day-to-day pharmacy operations, provide vaccinations, manage inventory, and deliver patient-centred care with a focus on clinical services and health screenings. A Canadian Pharmacist licence and injection certification are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Canadian Pharmacist in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Injection certification is required.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• Ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge as needed.
• Additional training or certifications are considered assets.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing and vaccinations.
• Maintain inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations, policies and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with latest trends and new medications.
• Offer private consultations to patients with a patient-centred care approach.
• Provide clinical services including medication management and health screening.

We are hiring a Pharmacist at our brand-new pharmacy at our Valleyview location in Kamloops, BC, opening soon! This role is eligible for a negotiable signing bonus and moving allowance for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.

Compensation Details: $63.00 - $66.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
