Mint Health + Drugs is seeking a Part-time or Casual Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Stony Plain, AB. You will support prescription processing, perform final checks, and assist with compounding under pharmacist supervision, ensuring safe, accurate patient care.

The ideal candidate has CCAPP-accredited training, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Kroll. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Mansioni

• Prescription Processing: Receive, transcribe, and verify the technical accuracy of new and refill prescriptions.
• Independent Final Check: Conduct final checks of prepared prescriptions to ensure accuracy before dispensing.
• Compounding: Prepare non-sterile (ointments, liquids) and sterile (intravenous injections, chemotherapy) medications.
• Patient Care: Gather medication histories, administer injections (where authorized), and teach patients how to use medical devices like inhalers or glucometers.
• Inventory & Records: Maintain medication inventory, manage narcotic and controlled substance records, and process third-party billing.
