Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician Diploma from an accredited Community College.
  • Certified as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with OCP, in good standing.
  • Injection training and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate entry and dispensing of prescription medications.
  • Technical verification of prescriptions and blister packs.
  • Blister pack preparation.
  • Preparing non-sterile compounds (Level A).
  • Proficient in third party billing and insurance adjudication.
  • Train patients on use of drug administration and monitoring devices.
  • Handling prescription drop-off and pickup.
  • Ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals and maintaining inventory.
  • Managing workflow within the dispensary.
  • Greeting customers and managing inquiries appropriately.
  • Serving the local community of St. Marys and surrounding area.
