Cheetham’s Pharmacy in Saskatoon, SK is seeking a registered Pharmacy Technician to join our on-site team in a full-time capacity. You will process and prepare prescriptions, verify patient information, and assist with third-party billing while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will interact directly with patients and caregivers, provide courteous service, manage prescription pickups and deliveries, and help maintain a well-organized dispensary with accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• Proven prescription processing, preparation and verification with high accuracy.

Role Description The Registered Pharmacy Technician will work on-site at Cheetham’s Pharmacy in Saskatoon, SK in a full-time capacity, supporting pharmacists in delivering safe, accurate, and timely medication services. Day-to-day responsibilities include processing and preparing prescriptions, entering and verifying patient information, assisting with third-party billing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The role involves interacting directly with patients and caregivers, providing courteous and informed customer service, coordinating prescription pickups and deliveries, and supporting medication management for seniors and other patients with complex needs. The technician will also help maintain inventory levels, organize stock, manage returns and recalls, and contribute to a clean, efficient, and well-organized dispensary. Collaboration with pharmacists and other team members to support clinical services, health programs, and continuous improvement of workflow will be an important part of this role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in prescription processing, preparation, and verification, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid knowledge of pharmacy operations, dispensing procedures, and relevant regulations, with experience working in a community pharmacy setting.
• Current registration and good standing as a Pharmacy Technician (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate regulatory body.
• Experience working collaboratively with pharmacists and other Pharmacy Technicians in a fast-paced environment.
• Skill in inventory control, including ordering, receiving, organizing stock, and managing returns and recalls.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, support diverse patient needs, and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
• Comfort using pharmacy management software, electronic health records, and related digital tools, with basic computer literacy.
