Health Association Nova Scotia invites Registered Nurses to join dedicated teams across the province, including New Glasgow, for long-term care and home care roles.

You will work in an interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate, competent care, administer medications, and support residents in living well at home. NSCN licensure or eligibility is required; diverse, inclusive workplace with growth and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN license or eligibility to license with NSCN.
• Experience in long-term care or home care preferred.
• Ability to work as part of interdisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care and plan resident care with the care team.
• Administer and document prescribed medications.
• Deliver diabetes management, dialysis, IV meds, palliative care, phlebotomy and wound care in home care.

Responsibilities

Long-term Care

• Practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and wellness of the residents.
• Administer direct nursing care and plan Resident care in consultation from the multidisciplinary care team.
• Administering and recording prescribed medication

Home Care

• Diabetes management
• Dialysis
• IV medications
• Palliative care
• Phlebotomy
• Wound care

Core Requirements

• Current Licensed (or eligible for license) with the Nova Scotia College of Nurses
