Job summary

Leading-edge in Toronto, ON is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. The role requires assessment, treatment administration, monitoring, and collaboration with physicians.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Nursing, is registered with CNO in Ontario, and can work on weekends/holidays as needed. EMR experience and strong teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or nursing diploma from a recognised institution.
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) is required.
• Valid RN licence to practise in Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, monitor conditions, and develop nursing care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and clinical information.
• Assist physicians and healthcare professionals with patient care and procedures.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions and emergency situations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, medication, and ongoing care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and healthcare standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver effective patient care.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and supportive clinical environment.
