Qualifications

• Valid and current registered member with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Proof of Covid vaccination.
• Previous experience in Medicine/Palliative Care Nursing or Emergency Dept is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with the client and address their needs.
• Assess and interpret clients' physical and psychological conditions.
• Administer medications and implement physician's orders.
• Collaborate with medical team for personal care plans.
• Document resident care and maintain confidentiality.

Skills

BCLS/ACLS

Specialized skills in Medical/Surgical Nursing or Emergency Dept

Ability to plan, organize and problem solve

Excellent communication skills

Working knowledge of Meditech Information System

Education

Valid Registered Nurse certification

CPR certification
