University Hospital of Northern BC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the PACU to join our team. The Staff RN, PACU, will provide comprehensive nursing care, perform assessments, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet evolving health care needs in a patient-centered model.

Shift rotations include Days, Nights with 07:00 to 15:00, 10:00 to 18:00, and 23:00 to 07:00 on a rotating basis.

Formación

• Licence to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in British Columbia.
• Experience in post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) preferred.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and interprofessional collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care in an acute clinical setting.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Staff RN, PACU, practices in accordance with the Vision, Values, Ethics and Standards of the organization and of the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and within a patient and family centered care model.

The Staff RN, PACU, provides nursing care in an acute clinical setting and is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care. Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, the Staff Nurse ensures the delivery of client-centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs. This Staff RN, PACU, possesses a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
