Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse to join the OR team at the University Hospital of Northern British Columbia (UHNBC). You will deliver compassionate patient care in a dynamic surgical setting, adhering to BCCNM standards and the patient-family centered care model.

The role includes scrubbing and circulating duties with an on-call rotation and rotating shift times (days/evenings). This is an on-site position with rotating hours.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to patient-centered care.

The Registered Nurse-Operating Room provides comprehensive nursing care to patients within the Operating Room (OR) and performs scrubbing and circulating duties in alignment with the guidelines established by the Operating Room Nurses Association of Canada (ORNAC).

There is an on-call component to this rotation.
