Southlake will offer a paid Critical Care Nursing Program through the Michener Institute, based on the qualifications at the bottom of the posting.
Fall cohort dates: August 12, 2025 (Hospital orientation begins August 25, 2025).
September 28, 2025: (Hospital orientation begins September 9, 2025).
Winter cohort dates: January 12, 2026 (Orientation date to be determined).
The Registered Nurse (RN) role models clinical excellence and adheres to the core competencies of the practice standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), as well as the policies and procedures of Southlake Regional Health Centre (Southlake). The RN works collaboratively as a member of the healthcare team. All nurses commit to lifelong learning.
The successful candidate will be motivated, self-directed, and a key member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team with defined roles focused on quality patient care and patient flow. They will be responsible for providing excellent care to a diverse acute medical patient population in a fast-paced setting.
