Job summary

Northern Health in Terrace, BC, seeks a motivated Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate patient care at Ksyen Regional Hospital. Under supervision of the Manager, the RN applies professional standards, ethics, and patient-centered care in collaboration with the interprofessional team.

The RN will assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care in an acute medical unit, with rotating shifts (days and nights) from 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in BC.
• Experience in acute medical settings is preferred.
• Commitment to patient- and family-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care for patients in an acute medical unit.
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team to deliver patient-centered care.

The Registered Nurse (RN) practices in a variety of clinical settings, and working collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to patients in an acute medical unit
