Job summary

Northern Health - BC in Prince Rupert is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital team, delivering compassionate patient care.

The RN will work under the supervision of the manager and with an interprofessional care team, following BC College of Nurses and Midwives standards in a patient- and family-centered model.

Shifts include evenings and nights on a rotating schedule (07:00–19:00, 19:00–07:00).

Qualifications

• Active RN license in British Columbia (BCCNM standards and code of ethics).
• Experience in direct patient care within acute medical settings is advantageous.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family-centered care model. The Registered Nurse (RN) practices in a variety of clinical settings, and working collaboratively with the interprofessional care team, provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to patients in an acute medical unit.
