Job summary

Northern Health – BC is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the ICU team at Ksyen Regional Hospital. You will deliver compassionate patient care, collaborate with an interprofessional team, and adhere to BCCNM standards and patient-family centered care.

Under supervision of the Manager, you will assess, plan, provide and evaluate nursing care for patients with complex health issues. Shifts include days and nights, rotating.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid license in British Columbia (BCCNM standards)
• Commitment to compassionate patient care and patient-family centered care
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interprofessional team

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.

The Registered Nurse – ICU, working collaboratively with the interprofessional team, plans and provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to clients with various complex health care issues. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
