Interior Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the GI Endoscopy team at Penticton Regional Hospital in Penticton, BC. The role involves providing nursing care both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

The position is a Permanent Part Time (0.69) opportunity with shifts Monday to Friday days and evenings, rotating within standard hospital hours. Benefit offerings and a supportive team culture are highlighted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Current CPR certification required.
• Advanced preparation in GI endoscopy nursing or equivalent education/training/experience.

• Provides nursing care to patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborates with other health care providers to enhance patient and family well-being.
• Demonstrates evidence-based nursing practice and maintains clinical competence.

This is a Permanent Part Time (0.69) opportunity.

Shifts of work will be scheduled Monday to Friday days and evenings rotating from 07:00 to 17:00, 08:30 to 17:30, 07:30 to 15:30 hours.

About this Location

PRH is a 155-bed Acute Care facility in the Okanagan Health Service Area and responsible for providing core medical and surgical specialty services to surrounding population of approximately 90,000 people. PRH currently runs five operating rooms, one of which is a procedural room to provide services for urology, ENT, general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, chronic pain and uncomplicated pediatric cases over 2 years. There are two OR theatres at the Summerland Health Centre where services are provided including pediatric dental.
