About The Job

The Registered Nurse will:

  • Provide nursing care to emergency patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Enhance quality of life for the patient and family; consult, confere, and collaborate with other health care providers.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement and evidence‑based practice in nursing practice.
  • Maintain and advance own clinical competence.
  • Participate on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned.
Other Details

There are multiple Permanent Part Time (0.74) opportunities available.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days and nights rotating from 07:00 to 19:15, and 19:00 to 07:15.

The Dr. Helmcken Memorial Hospital is a Level 1 Community Hospital offering surgical, inpatient and emergency services. It has 6 acute care beds with a small 24‑hour emergency department that includes 4 bays and 1 trauma bay.
