This casual opportunity offers respite and variety with shifts Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00, in a scenic BC setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Emergency/ED experience preferred.
• Demonstrates teamwork and strong communication.
• Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced ED environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to emergency patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain clinical competence and participate in quality improvement.

About The Job

• Provides nursing care to emergency patients, both by working independently and as a member of an interdisciplinary team
• Enhances quality of life for the patient and family; consults, confers, and collaborates with other health care providers
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence based practice in nursing practice
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence
• Participates on designated hospital committees/teams and approved research projects as assigned

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as‑needed basis.

Shifts of work will be scheduled days Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
