Baptist Housing, The Heights at Mt. View in Victoria, BC, invites you to join our team as a Casual Registered Nurse.

You will provide clinical leadership, assess complex medical needs, develop care plans, and guide a care team in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care across our seven‑story long‑term care community. This leadership role supports residents’ health and wellness, mentors care aides and LPNs, ensures accurate documentation in EMR, and collaborates with families and physicians

Qualifications

• BSN degree and current licensure with BC College of Nurses & Midwives.
• Active First Aid and Food Safe certifications.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in clinical care planning, complex assessments, and decision‑making
• Oversee medication administration, treatments, and interventions for residents with unstable conditions
• Mentor and guide care aides and LPNs to deliver high‑quality care
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, person‑centred care plans
• Ensure accurate documentation using clinical systems and electronic medical records
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Uphold health and safety protocols, promoting a safe and supportive environment
• Model Baptist Housing’s ministry values and demonstrate servant leadership in all interactions

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree
• Current registration in good standing with the BC College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
• Current First Aid Certificate and Food Safe Certification
• Experience in long‑term care preferred

Compensation & Benefits

Level 3 RNs are compensated at an hourly rate of $41.42 – $55.91.
