As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide team leadership, develop care plans, assess residents with unstable conditions, and perform nursing interventions such as medication administration, treatments, and patient transfers.
As a Registered Nurse at our Inglewood Community in Baptist Housing, your responsibilities include conducting resident assessments, administering treatments and medications, managing residents' health, and adhering to professional standards outlined by BCNNM. You will foster positive relationships within the team and with residents, providing leadership, support, and guidance. You will also develop and implement person-centered care plans, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and ensure health and safety compliance. As an ambassador of Baptist Housing, you will model our values and demonstrate servant leadership by prioritizing residents' needs and maintaining positive relationships with residents, team members, families, and partners. Located on Taylor Way and Inglewood Avenue, our community is near parks like Ambleside Park, Capilano Park, and Capilano River Regional Park.

You are dedicated, professional, a self-starter with a strong work ethic, and capable of working independently. You excel in interpersonal and communication skills, fostering positive relationships with residents and team members. You are skilled in problem-solving, time management, and organizing workloads, ensuring high-quality resident care. You have a thorough understanding of aging, cognitive changes, and age-related diseases, providing empathetic and comprehensive care. Your expertise includes medication administration, healthcare protocols, safety standards, and legal documentation. You are competent in assessing functional and cognitive status, managing equipment, utilizing office technology, and understanding pharmacological therapies, the Wellness Model, and the healthcare system. You are compassionate, competent, and committed to the well-being of those you serve.
The Master Collective Compensation, as per the Provincial BC Nurses Collective Agreement, includes competitive vacation allowances, extended health and dental benefits, a municipal pension plan, an employee and family assistance program, and opportunities for professional development. Level 3 RNs are compensated hourly from $41.42 to $55.91.
