Contract Dates: June 9, 2025 – July 21, 2025 (possible extension)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 40 hours
Overview:
Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an urgent short-term contract role at our onsite Occupational Health clinic. This position supports adult employees only and plays a vital role in onsite injury response and workplace wellness initiatives.
This is a great opportunity for an RN who is confident working independently and thrives in a fast-paced occupational or urgent care setting. Previous occupational health experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to and assess on-site employee injuries and provide appropriate care within scope
Use clinical judgment to effectively triage patients and determine appropriate next steps
Deliver first aid, administer vaccines, conduct TB testing, and perform routine wellness checks
Support return-to-work evaluations and documentation
Collaborate with medical providers and site leadership to support safe work practices
Maintain clear, timely documentation in the EMR system
Ideal Candidate:
Licensed RN in California, in good standing
BLS certification (AHA required)
Strong assessment and triage skills
Ability to work independently and make clinical decisions confidently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with occupational injury care is a strong plus
Details:
Full-time contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week
Monday–Friday day schedule, no nights or weekends
Adults only – industrial workforce setting
