Job summary

Lion Healthcare in Fordwich, Ontario is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support resident care in long-term care settings. The RN will provide clinical leadership, assess health changes, and coordinate care with RPNs and PSWs. This role requires a current RN license with CNO and experience in geriatric care.

The candidate will lead a care team, ensure documentation accuracy, and uphold LTC policies while maintaining resident-centered care and collaboration with physicians and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and respond to changes in health status.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to LTC policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Support infection prevention and control (IPAC) practices.
• Ensure safe, high-quality resident care and compliance with LTC regulations.
