Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Duncan, British Columbia, is seeking a Registered Nurse to monitor patients, assess needs, and collaborate with a health team to plan and implement patient care in elder care settings.

The role includes dispensing medications, providing nursing care, and supervising licensed practical nurses. On-site work is required, with standard safety measures including a criminal record check and immunization/TB screening.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities.
• Experience in geriatrics.
• On-site work requirement (no remote option).
• Criminal record check and immunization/tuberculosis screening as standard safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition
• Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
• Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
• Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
• Provide nursing care
• Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
