Job summary

Vancouver Island Health Authority is seeking a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse for a temporary part-time position across multiple sites in Nanaimo, BC. You will assess patients, plan and deliver nursing care, and coordinate the Medical Plan of Care with the care team.

Eligibility includes BC College of Nurses and Midwives registration as an RN or RPN, with up to two years of related experience. The role requires shift rotation and travel between sites; mNPRs initiative is noted.

Qualifications

• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as an RN or RPN registrant.
• Up to two years' recent related nursing experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize workload and set priorities.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities
