The University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center in Burlington, Vermont is seeking a dedicated Neurology Nurse for our progressive care unit. You will care for a diverse patient population including neurology, neurosurgery, gynecologic surgery, ENT and other medicine patients in a 3-bed neuro step-down unit.

On-call is not required, and we value professional growth, safe patient handling, and a supportive team culture with shared governance.

Formación

• Current RN licensure in Vermont or compact licensure required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Experience in neurology/neurosurgery or progressive care varies by unit.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care for neurology, neurosurgery, gynecologic surgery, ENT and other medical patients in a 3-bed neuro step-down unit.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs with a focus on safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and participate in preceptorships and continuing education.

Registered Nurse licensure in Vermont or compact

ADN required, BSN preferred

Unit Description: As a Neurology Nurse in this progressive care unit, you'll care for a diverse patient population with a range of needs to build or enhance your nursing practice. Our patient population consists of neurology, neurosurgery, gynecologic surgery, ENT, and other medical patients. Our 3-bed neuro step-down unit offers a unique opportunity to care for our more complex patients.

On-call: Not required.

Requirements:

• Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
• ADN required, BSN preferred.
• Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
