Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Home Hemodialysis team at the Kelowna General Hospital in beautiful Kelowna, B.C If you are a Registered Nurse with Hemodialysis education/training and experience, apply today!

The Home Hemodialysis program provides services to our clients in their homes. The position involves triage of referrals, assessment for the program and patient teaching, training, support, troubleshooting and follow-ups. The Home Hemodialysis program covers 10-14 patients in the Central and North Okanagan, with travel as a requirement of the role. Hemodialysis experience is required, with Home Hemodialysis experience considered as asset.

About The Job

The Registered Nurse:

• Delivers the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care in a primary care setting
• Operates in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Ensures the delivery of client–centered care by assisting individual clients and their families respond to changing health care needs
• Demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities
  
  

This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity.

Shifts of work are Monday to Friday, with shift times of 08:00 to 16:00 hours.
