Operating Room- Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse

This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse at the Operating Room (OR) unit of Kelowna General Hospital located in Kelowna, BC. The role requires a perioperative certificate and involves providing direct patient care, administering medications, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring patients' well-being. Additionally, the Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient health, creating care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Rotation / Shifts

Days, evenings and nights, 8, 10, and 12 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

• Perioperative Certificate
• Patient Care, Medication Administration, and Health Assessment skills
• Collaboration with healthcare team members
• Strong communication and interpersonal Skills
• Attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
• Ability to work in diverse healthcare environments
• Valid RN or LPN license in British Columbia
• Experience in Emergency, Medical / Surgical, ICU, or Long-Term Care settings is a plus
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Must be eligible to work in Canada

Please Note

• 3-4 RN / LPNs needed
• Length of Deployment : Any
• Start Date : Immediately
• Orientation Requirements : 2 days of orientation, 2 weeks of day shifts to follow
