24/7 Clinic Shifts: 8-hour and 12-hour options

Bayshore Medical Personnel is in search of multiple Registered Nurses who are in interested in full-time, part-time or casual work to join a healthcare clinic that provides medical services for all clients of various risk levels. This includes but is not limited to adults, families, pregnant women, minors, persons suffering from a medical condition or disability, persons with suspected or diagnosed mental illness, and victims of human trafficking.

The Registered Nurse will receive, assess, and treat clients in their care when medical attention is required or requested by the client, as well as coordinate the care of clients with local health care providers.

Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Performing medical assessments.
• Checking and monitoring basic vital signs.
• Preparing, distributing and administering medications and over-the-counter items.
• Performing mental health and psychosocial assessments.
• Coordinating with the local hospital or other healthcare providers as needed.
• Clinical documentation, including charting patient assessments, interventions and outcomes in the Electronic Medical Record system is a large mandatory component of this position.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years, working as a Registered Nurse
• A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives.
• A current and valid Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider completed within the last year (12 months).
  
  

Successful Candidate Requirements

All candidates will be required to obtain and show proof of:

• A valid RELIABILITY STATUS security clearance
• Required request form and fingerprint form will be provided at time of hire
• A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the last year (12 months).
• N95 mask fit certificate completed within two-years.
• Workplace Hazardous Material Information System (WHMIS) Certification completed within the last two-years.
• Hourly Rate: $45 - $50 per hour
