Job summary

The New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program (EMP) is seeking a Registered Nurse to holistically coordinate care for patients in home and community settings. You will work within an integrated, multi-disciplinary team to provide highly coordinated primary health care in NB.

English language proficiency and French spoken ability are required; most shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends and on-call. Qualifications include nursing degree, current CNNB registration, 2 years of recent RN experience

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Currently registered and in good standing, or eligible for registration, with the College of Nursing of New Brunswick (CNNB).
• A minimum of two (2) years in the last five (5) years of specialized registered nursing experience with preference in family practice, surgical, palliative care or oncology in a patient unit that requires daily collaboration with various health disciplines and family members as part of reaching patient goals.
• A good driving record with a valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License.
• Have a current CPR Level C certification or be prepared to obtain within 3 months.
• Ability to work efficiently as a member of the team and possess leadership and coaching skills, strong interpersonal skills, good judgment and decision making skills.
• Able to work all shifts as assigned, maintaining a good attendance record.
• A high regard for confidentiality; and
• Submit a valid and clean criminal record check.
