Job summary

Hollinger Dental Group in Timmins, Ontario seeks Registered Nurses for casual work in our oral surgery practice. Responsibilities include preparing equipment and medications, reviewing histories, monitoring vitals during sedation, and providing post-operative care.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs with BLS and ACLS, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Experience in oral surgery or critical care is a plus. On-site position with a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have provincial RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in oral surgery, emergency room, ICU, PACU or critical care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment and medications for surgical procedures.
• Review patient history and conduct pre-operatory assessment.
• Provide continuous patient care during sedation and monitor vital signs.
• Support as needed during procedures and post-operative phase.
• Complete all documentation for patient records.

• continuous patient care during sedation whilemonitoring vital signs and assisting as required
• post-operative patient care in preparation fordischarge
• complete all necessary documentation forpatient records

About you:

• must be licensed as a Registered Nursed inaccordance with the provincial guidelines
• must have BLS and ACLS
• strong communication skills (written andverbal)
• ability to take initiative, work independentlyand work effectively in a team environment
• previous experience in oral surgery, emergencyroom, ICU, PACU or critical care is an asset
