Job summary

Bupa Whitby Care Home in Whitby, NZ, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care across rest home, hospital, or psychogeriatric settings. You will deliver person-centred care aligned with nursing standards, lead care delivery, and develop strong relationships with residents and whānau while supporting continuous quality improvement.

Current NZ Nursing Council Annual Practising Certificate required; aged care experience is preferred.

Hours & Roster Details:
  • Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
  • Hours: 32 hours/week and 192 hours
  • Shift Time: 1 1pm to 7am (Night Shifts)
  • Roster Pattern- 4 days on and 2 days off roster
The purpose of this job

Located in Whitby, Porirua , close to the Pauatahanui Inlet, Bupa Whitby Care Home offers Rest Home, Hospital, Dementia, and Specialist Dementia (Psychogeriatric) Care.

As a Registered Nurse , you will provide high-quality clinical care to residents across rest home, hospital or psychogeriatric settings.

  • You’ll deliver person-centred care aligned with Nursing Council of New Zealand competencies, ensuring residents’ wellbeing, dignity and safety while supporting their individual needs
  • Success in this role looks like leading care delivery, embracing new care product innovations, and making clinical decisions while delivering safe, evidence-based care
  • You will excel at building strong relationships with residents and whānau, while actively contributing to continuous quality improvement
What you’ll need to make it possible
