Job summary

Bupa ANZ is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for a fixed-term role in Windsor Park, a 77-bed facility providing rest home, hospital, and dementia care. You will support mornings with clinical tasks, maintain records, and work within an established nursing scope.

You will perform assessments, document quality improvements, and communicate effectively with residents, whānau, and the clinical team to ensure safety and dignity for all residents.

Qualifications

• Must hold Current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
• NZ aged care experience preferred; other RN backgrounds considered.
• Proven ability to develop and document care plans and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support resident care in the morning, perform clinical observations, assist with medicines within scope, maintain accurate records, report changes to the RN.
• Provide high-quality clinical care across rest home, hospital, and dementia care settings.
• Lead care delivery, adopt new care product innovations, and make evidence-based clinical decisions.

Hours & Roster Details:

• Employment Type: Fixed Term until 07-Nov-2027.
• Hours: 32 hours per week.
• Shift Time: Morning shifts, 7am to 3pm.

The purpose of this job

Windsor Park is a 77-bed certified care home providing rest home, hospital and dementia care. This gives you the opportunity to use your clinical judgement across different resident needs while working within your enrolled nursing scope.

Your mornings will include supporting resident care, completing clinical observations, assisting with medicines within scope, maintaining clear records and reporting changes to the Registered Nurse. You will need to be organised, calm and confident working with residents, whānau, caregivers and the wider clinical team.

As a Enrolled Nurse , you will provide high-quality clinical care to residents across rest home, hospital or psychogeriatric settings.

• You’ll deliver person-centred care aligned with Nursing Council of New Zealand competencies, ensuring residents’ wellbeing, dignity and safety while supporting their individual needs
• Success in this role looks like leading care delivery, embracing new care product innovations, and making clinical decisions while delivering safe, evidence-based care
• You will excel at building strong relationships with residents and whānau, while actively contributing to continuous quality improvement

What you’ll need to make it possible

• Current Nursing Council of New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate
• NZ aged care experience preferred; other RN backgrounds considered
• Demonstrated improvements in care plans, assessments and documentation quality
• Identifies health changes early and acts to ensure safety
• Communicates effectively with residents, whānau, teams and providers
• Maintains clinical standards, accurate documentation and quality improvement
• Confident using clinical systems, records and reporting tools.
