Job summary

Humber River Health in Toronto, ON, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Acute Inpatient Medicine Unit, 14 East – Stroke & Medicine. The role offers a full-time status with rotating 12‑hour day/night shifts and a $41.15–$58.98 hourly rate.

The RN will provide care across medicine, geriatrics and stroke, and participate in multidisciplinary teams and mentorship. The ideal candidate holds current CNO registration, BCLS, and has acute inpatient experience.

• 2 years acute medical/surgical inpatient experience preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills within a multidisciplinary team

Right now we are looking for a Registered Nurse to work with our Acute Inpatient Medicine Unit, 14 East - Stroke & Medicine.

Employment Status: Full-Time

Reporting Relationship: Manager of 14 East

Hourly Rate: $41.15 - $58.98

Union Group: ONA

Hours of work: Rotating shifts, 12 hours, days/nights/weekends

Location: Humber River Health, Wilson site

Position Responsibilities

• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to set priorities, sound problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
• Excellent patient/family teaching skills and an ability to promote family centered care.
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with multidisciplinary team, patients, family members and visitors.
• Computer skills required.
• Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
