Provisional Permit holders start at $40.76–$55.79/hr, with full permit adjustments per UNA agreements. Position available as Regular Full Time with Orientation supported by a Nurse Educator.

Qualifications

• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Additional Required Qualifications:

FHS, NRP, CTAS within 6 months of hire. IV initiation and infusion therapy certification or equivalent proof of competency. Experience using Windows computers, Outlook, Connect Care. This position involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, pushing, patient transfer, pulling, typing, and fine motor tasks, with lifting requirements of up to 100 lbs occasionally, 21-50 lbs frequently, and 0-20 lbs constantly.

Preferred Qualifications:

ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and TNCC or EPIC. Rural Nurse Connect Care trained. RSI Training or airway management experience, procedural sedation training. Education/experience with breastfeeding support. 1 year experience labour and delivery, emergency or rural acute care in the last 3 years. Charge Nurse experience/training, incident command post experience/training.
