Silver Star Ski Resort in Vernon, BC is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to deliver therapeutic massage and spa treatments in a serene Aveda-based setting.

You will maintain high hygiene standards, greet clients promptly, and contribute to achieving spa goals while promoting treatments and monthly specials. Flexible scheduling and commission opportunities enhance your earning potential.

Qualifications

• BC-registered massage therapist required.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Team player with professional appearance.
• Experience with Aveda or spa services asset.

Responsabilités

• Greet and attend to clients promptly.
• Obtain and maintain detailed client treatment records.
• Perform remedial, therapeutic, sports, pregnancy, hot stone and relaxation massage as trained.
• Set room ambience and maintain sanitation of treatment areas.
• Restock and prepare treatment rooms; ensure towels and linens are ready.

Clean all work areas following use.Assist in keeping the treatment room clean, hygienic and presentable.Restock treatment rooms, massage oils and spa linens throughout the day and prior to finishing shifts.Check all rooms before the end of any shift to ensure towel cabbies are wiped down and turned off, candles are extinguished & replenished and the room is tidy and clean.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Must be a Registered Massage therapist in the Province of British Columbia.Ability to stand, crouch and hold body in various positions for extended periods of time.Strong knowledge of proper working ergonomics and practice regular self-care techniques 2-5 years' experience considered an asset.Arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to any scheduled shift.Proper attire and high grooming standards required.Must have exceptional customer service skillsMust be approachable, dependable and a strong team player Previous Aveda experience an assetMust have an outgoing, friendly personality Strong communication skills Professional appearance and attitudeHours:Per week range between 8-40 P/T or F/TStaff retain 100% of Gratuities
