Job summary

EHN Canada is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our network of Canadian mental health and rehabilitation facilities as an independent contractor in Toronto. Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program recognized in Canada.
• Current registration and licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the provincial regulatory college.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to massage therapy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments including health history and physical evaluations to determine appropriate massage therapy treatments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release techniques.
• Maintain detailed client records documenting treatments, progress, and changes in condition.
• Educate clients on self-care strategies, injury prevention, and wellness practices.
• Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and provincial regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in the health care services industry in Canada, you will play a vital role in promoting the physical well-being and recovery of clients through therapeutic massage techniques. Your primary objective will be to assess clients' musculoskeletal conditions and develop personalized treatment plans that alleviate pain, reduce stress, and improve mobility. You will work closely with clients to understand their health history and goals, ensuring that each session is tailored to their specific needs. Collaboration with other health care professionals may be necessary to provide comprehensive care and optimize treatment outcomes. Ultimately, your expertise will contribute to enhancing clients' quality of life by supporting their physical health and rehabilitation processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
