Job summary

EHN Canada is seeking a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our network of Canadian mental health and rehabilitation facilities as an independent contractor in Toronto. You will assess clients, develop personalized treatment plans, and apply techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release to improve mobility and reduce pain.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited massage therapy program recognized in Canada.
• Current registration and licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with the provincial regulatory college.
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification.
• Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to massage therapy.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments including health history and physical evaluations to determine appropriate massage therapy treatments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release techniques.
• Maintain detailed client records documenting treatments, progress, and changes in condition.
• Educate clients on self-care strategies, injury prevention, and wellness practices.
• Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and provincial regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other health care providers to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
• Manage appointment scheduling and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment.
