Role Description

The Registered Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based in Surrey, BC. The RMT will assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and provide a range of therapeutic and relaxation massage services in alignment with evidence-based practices. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough client consultations, documenting treatment outcomes, and collaborating with physiotherapists, chiropractors, and other team members to support integrated care. The role involves educating clients on injury prevention, stress management, and self-care strategies to enhance long-term wellness. The therapist is also expected to maintain a clean and safe treatment space, uphold professional standards, and contribute to a positive, client-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage, with the ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs.
• Experience or training in Shiatsu and other complementary massage techniques that support overall wellness.
• Strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on empathetic communication and building trusted client relationships.
• Ability to incorporate Stress Management techniques and client education into treatment plans.
• Valid registration and good standing with the appropriate massage therapy regulatory body in British Columbia.
• Knowledge of evidence-based rehabilitation practices and willingness to collaborate in an interdisciplinary clinical setting.
• Strong documentation and time-management skills, with attention to professional ethics and confidentiality.
