Kinesiologist at Canadian Shield Health Care Services will work in the Rehabilitation Services Department under the direct supervision of the Manager of Rehabilitation Services. The role involves conducting physical assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care. The Kinesiologist will also develop SMART goals, make appropriate referrals, and work within an interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care.
The successful candidate will:
Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Kinesiology or Human Kinetics, registration with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario, and proof of liability insurance if applicable. The candidate should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Geriatric experience and familiarity with community resources are assets.
