Job summary

YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo invites applications for a Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our team in a temporary full-time capacity. You will plan and implement a developmentally appropriate play-based program for children and their families, working with a team of childcare workers to maintain program quality.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Early Childhood Education and development.
• Previous experience working with children.
• Familiar with the Child Care and Early Years Act and environmental assessment tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with staff, parents, children and the public.

Registered Early Childhood Educator Willow River Temporary Full-Time

Temporary Full-Time for approximately 18-months | Monday to Friday | Rotating shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm
Pay Rate: $30.36 per hour (based on current funding) plus 2% in lieu of benefits

This is a unionized position and is subject to the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement with Unifor Local302.
