Thorncliffe Park Daycare is a non-profit childcare located in East York. We are licensed for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or Assistant at Thorncliffe Park School Age in Toronto, ON. The role involves overseeing the care and education of young children, implementing age-appropriate activities, and supporting the children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Qualifications

  1. Early Childhood Education (ECE) diploma or degree
  2. Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) certification in good standing or in the process of registering with the College of ECE
  3. Knowledge of child development theories and 'How Does Learning Happen' in early childhood education
  4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Experience working with children in a childcare setting is an asset
  6. Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  7. Familiarity with daily programming is an asset
