Job summary

BrightPath Kids Inc. in Manotick, Ontario is hiring a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our caring team. You will partner with families and teachers to provide a home-away-from-home environment for children, delivering a developmentally appropriate program and maintaining a safe, organized classroom.

Qualifications

• Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) – member in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE.
• Meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.
• Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR.
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing a BrightPath curriculum-aligned program.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Assessing children's abilities, interests, and needs; discuss progress with parents and staff.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Registered Early Childhood Educator, you will work side-by-side with teachers and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care. Responsibilities include:

Requirements:
