In this role, the Registered Dietitian will work across Geriatric & Medical Rehab, Palliative Care, Falls Clinic and Health Discipline Resource Team.
The primary role of a Registered Dietitian is to provide evidence-based, high quality nutrition care unique to individuals as part of their medical treatment to improve or maintain health. This includes determining the appropriate route and composition of nutrition support, and formulation, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition care plans based on a comprehensive nutrition assessment.
