Aramark is hiring a Permanent Part-Time Registered Dietitian for a 130-bed long-term care facility in North York. This position involves working 2 days per week, totaling 16 hours. Free parking is available across the street.

The Registered Dietitian will provide person-centered nutrition care to residents, focusing on health, well-being, and quality of life. The role requires independent work and collaboration with the care team to ensure quality health care and accurate documentation of residents' nutritional status.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop nutritional care plans prioritizing quality of life
• Consult with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; communicate nutritional plans effectively
• Participate in patient case conferences, interdisciplinary rounds, and serve as a resource for residents and families
• Collaborate with Food Services to meet departmental and nutritional standards
• Recommend programs or services to improve resident care or departmental operations
• Stay informed on trends in clinical dietetics through publications, research, and ongoing education
• Maintain contact with dietetic organizations related to your responsibilities
• Work within departmental budget constraints
• Interact with Food Services staff to meet department objectives

Qualifications

• Willingness to work on a permanent part-time basis – 2 days / 16 hours per week
• 4-year bachelor's degree in Nutrition from an accredited university or college
• Graduate of an accredited Dietetic Internship Program
• Registered with the Ontario College of Dietitians
• Previous experience in healthcare or long-term care is preferred
