Job summary

123Dentist is seeking a passionate Registered Dental Assistant to join our Wainwright clinic. In this full-time role you will support the dentist, prepare treatment rooms and equipment, and ensure smooth patient flow from reception to chairside.

The ideal candidate has a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II, is registered or in process with the Alberta College of Dental Assistants, and welcomes new graduates.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II.
• Registered or in process of registering with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants.
• New graduates welcome!
• Licensed in other Canadian province(s) also considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist and provide chairside support during procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
• Ensure smooth patient flow from reception to chairside and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Our dental clinic located in Wainwright, Alberta is looking for a passionate, hard-working Registered Dental Assistant on a full-time basis.

The ideal RDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

SCHEDULE

• 32-40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday with 1 Saturday per month.
• No late evenings. Our clinic is open until 4pm on Monday, Tuesday & Friday, and until 5pm on Wednesday & Thursday

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting Level II
• Registered or in process of registering with the College of Alberta Dental Assistants
• New graduates welcome!
• We are also open to those licensed in other Canadian province(s)
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
• Customer service mindset
