Job summary

Seton Dental Wellness in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Dental Assistant to prepare rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, and ensure sterilization and infection control. You will educate patients and support scheduling while delivering high-quality care.

Ideal candidates are registered/certified dental assistants with provincial credentials and have prior experience in dental assisting. This on-site role offers the opportunity to work within the dentalcorp network and grow with modern technology

Qualifications

  • Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
One Saturday per month: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Your Role
