Job summary

Northgate Dental Clinic in Regina, Saskatchewan, is hiring a Dental Assistant to support dentists and hygienists, prepare treatment rooms and materials, and ensure patient comfort through smooth workflows and strict IPAC standards.

You will update patient charts, assist with imaging, sterilization, scheduling tasks, and build trust with patients while upholding privacy and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Registered or certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body.
  • Dental assisting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

Schedule:
  • Tuesday- Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Your Role:

About You:
  • Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
