Westlake Dental in Lloydminster, SK is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and take dental X-rays to support efficient patient care.

You will maintain a clean environment, ensure IPAC standards, and help with patient education and administrative tasks, contributing to a smooth patient flow and high-quality care. The role requires registration or certification with the provincial body, and prior dental assisting experience

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
